Date: Tuesday 25 May 2021    Time: 10:00 am

Venue: Aldershot Crematorium Guildford Road Aldershot GU12 4BP

Family flowers only, but donations can be made to Phylis Tuckwell Hospice and Macmillan Cancer using the link https://Glynwalker.muchloved.com Also via that site you can leave a tribute.

Sue and the family have taken much comfort in the messages and many cards they have received, from past and present friends and colleagues, especially the many tributes to Glyn on Facebook. All cards and messages will be collated into one document and then attached to Glyn's Book of Condolence. The family wish to thank everyone for their kind words.

Regrettably, due to the current Covid regulations and the crematorium's restrictions, we are limited to numbers permitted to attend. We must comply with these restrictions. Sadly, this means most people wishing to be present, will not be able to unless invited. Glyn was very well organised and positive right until the end and accordingly had made a list of those people he would wish to attend, (wearing Suits, Corps tie, no medals. Masks.) That said, after discussions with the Crematorium management, they have agreed, that friends and colleagues not attending the service, can if they so wish, line the driveway, on the provision that once Glyn's coffin has entered the chapel, that they vacate the area due to the next service.

The situation is not ideal. Sue is sorry that numbers have to be restricted and wishes that hopefully, once the world returns to normality, we can all have a gathering in the local area, to remember and celebrate Glyn's life in the style and manner he would of approved.

The RAMC Association

William Boog LeishmanIn 1925, the RAMC Association was formed to further the camaraderie of WW1 Corps veterans with Sir William Leishman being the first President. There are now some 28 branches around UK with a predominantly veteran membership although most serving Corps members also are members centrally. The Association has traditionally been supported by Corps Funds and especially for the expenses of the branch standards and standard bearers.
